Tasting

Purple, dark violet with an intensive core and marked violet rim. Expressive nose of cherries and lilac. Very precise Zweigelt fruit with notes of licorice and white pepper. Dry, intensive fruitiness, dark-spicy and charmingly juicy, wonderful cherry fruit. Animating, lively crisp, proudly mirrors the „Blaufränkisch-soil“ of its vineyard.

Pairing

Ham specialties compete gnocchi with home-made walnut pesto, Austrian beef dishes, roasted chanterelles, gratinated tomatoes with herbs, pasta all´arrabbiata, tomato risotto with mozzarella, fresh farm bread with plum-olive-schmalz. In order to show those not at home with Burgenland wines what fruitiness means.
