Bright straw yellow with brilliant reflections, significant viscosity, gooseberries flash into view, subtle exoticism makes its way, a number of ripe, yellow fruits - all that the vintage had to offer, a hint of cherry plumb and yellow melon, subtle hints of citrus, very attractive. Well balanced residual sweetness supporting the classically outlined impressive fruit range, nice supporting acidity, convincing finish of redcurrants, ripe tropical fruits and yellow hay flowers, pleasant drinking animation. A classic late harvest wine that is in tune with the present day and continues a long tradition. Contains a good portion of understatement.
Pairing
Who knows how to make ‘Ogrosl’ jam? Serve with a crispy bread roll. Apple pie with pear puree, prawn tarte flambée with mango, bread and butter with greengage jam, nicely matches with a classical fruit salade. Would you like to pair it with brioche pastry? „Sweet“ pasta with cream cheese and caramelized slices of Williams pears and white almonds, cucuma buisquit rolls, red smear cheese with pumpkin seed oil injection, quince sorbet with phacelia honey, date-maple sirup cereal bars, gentle tonic in the course of an „anti alcopop therapy“, this is also „easy-going“ – yet a pure natural product!
