Liptauer by Grandmother Ratz

  • 250 g margarine
  • 400g soft curd cheese
  • 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
  • 1 heaped TBL finely chopped caper blossoms
  • salt, paprika precious sweet and spicy

Accompanying a wine tasting.

  1. Beat margarine until fluffy. Add curd cheese and the remaining ingredients, blend well.
  2. Add paprika powder gradually until a nice Liptauer colour is reached, be careful using spicy paprika powder.
  3. Goes especially well with Wachauer Laiberl (small loafs of bread).
