Light straw yellow, expanding fragrance of ripe, juicy fruits, rose garden, a whole bunch of spices, distinct and animating. Freshly picked yellow pears, greengage, young, rich and beautiful. Displays the entire aroma spectrum of Traminer. Pleasant, fruit-driven sweetness in the upper Spätlese-range. Good Traminer spiciness mirroring the vintage. Aroma concentration on the palate. Sweet nectarines, fresh kiwi. Finely chiselled and enjoyable. A creamy fruit-drug yet “easy-going” and modern. “Late harvest” is rather an “understatement”. Always juvenile yet a classic type with potential and tradition for many years now. Finally breaks the will of “dry wine opportunists” as it comes from Turner and Pandkräftn. Our sentimental favourite.
Goat cheese tartelettes with candid rose leaves, Spaghettini with Thai-chili & coriander-agave syrup, pistachio biscuits, soup of sweet chestnuts, kaki-crème brûlée, sorbets with spicy fruit combinations such as William pear with cloves, red mould cheese paired with chutneys, small goose liver balls and stewed pears, red mould cheese affinated almost to an “illegal” extent such as Epoisses, Le Cacouyard etc., as refreshment during “ladies’ meetings” or in case gentlemen run low of red wine, or just before they final turn to a double magnum of Blaufränkisch Reserve 2015 or to bridge the time until another bottle is decanted. Or for experienced jesters.

Hand-picked into small boxes, de-stemming, 10 hours of maceration, gentle pressing followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, interruption of fermentation by chilling and filtration, exclusively steel-tank contact.
