3 tbsp. brown sugar, approx. 30 – 40 peeled almonds
Remove the apple core, peel and slice the apple into horizontal layers. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and reconstruct the original form of the apple by systematizing the horizontal layers.
Place the reconstructed apple into a fire-resistant form covered with baking paper. Put butter into the hole created by the removed apple core and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes at a temperature of 180°C.
Melt sugar at moderate heat (add some water or stewed juice if necessary), add almonds and serve together with the baked apples.
