Liptauer by Grandmother Ratz
- 250 g margarine
- 400g soft curd cheese
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 1 heaped TBL finely chopped caper blossoms
- salt, paprika precious sweet and spicy
Accompanying a wine tasting.
- Beat margarine until fluffy. Add curd cheese and the remaining ingredients, blend well.
- Add paprika powder gradually until a nice Liptauer colour is reached, be careful using spicy paprika powder.
- Goes especially well with Wachauer Laiberl (small loafs of bread).
