Rosé von der Blaufränkisch Reserve

Vintage

2011

Description

Clear, brilliant pink-rosé, violet lilac blossoms. Like a blue-coloured bouquet – declaration of love inclusive. Sweet peach and crisp banana, a little cherry and a hint of fresh mint. Semi-sweet, backed by a harmonious acidity. Elegant creamy texture with fragile fruit sweetness. Raspberries flirt with recently picked William pears. The tiny, vivacious rosé  goblins dance on the palate until the bottle is empty. As the residual sugar content remained somewhat lower than in the previous years the excellence of the not common basic grape material becomes apparent.

Accompanying ideas

Freezing cold aperitif, pheasant with pomegranate and pink pepper, exotic mango & Cajun chicken brochettes, soup of beetroot, salmon and all that can be conjured of it. Sheep cheese with dried tomato chutney, nashi-pignoli salad. With pepper/strawberry sorbet. To accompany a nice gossip – better, “exchange of experiences” or simply to enjoy! Explicitly for those who wouldn`t order a wine at all.
