The old town of Rust is under a preservation order and is a location of world heritage.

The spirit that lives within the town walls of Rust represents the pride for the flourishing vineyards situated around the town. It stands for persistence and stubbornness; individualism and stereotypes (but without the megalomania!) and finally self confidence.
