Three gold stars for
Blaufränkisch Reserve 2007!
The new vintage of our Blaufränkisch Reserve celebrates it’s first success (hopefully with many more to follow): Vinaria – one of Austria’s leading wine magazines – has awarded our flagship product three gold stars, the rating for wines of outstanding quality. The award was granted following a unanimous decision of the 13 judges.
The procedure
Vinaria tested 2800 wines from 290 wineries. 223 wines were nominated for the three star tasting, which yielded 115 awards. 40 of those were red wines, of which a mere seven earned a unanimous decision by the panel. Two of these “Magnificent Seven” were pure Blaufränkisch – both from Rust!
